December Update

Hey Everyone! We've done quite a lot in December so far and we want to tell you what we accomplished. The first update we have is for some new PCB's. I designed 3 new printed circuit boards for the future of Delta.

The first printed circuit board is a HPR flight computer. It has no Thrust Vector Control outputs but has a buzzer and header pins for expandability! Also it has a powerful 120 megahertz processor with a SD card for data logging. It will be available for purchase in April 2020 and will cost about 85$

The second PCB is the new Omega v3! It has a lot of updates including a buzzer, a slide switch to easily turn the flight computer on, a brighter LED, and now 3 pyrotechnic channels for deploying parachutes or lighting a second stage motor. Also to make the board the same size as v2 we added some SMD components such as a RGB LED, resistors, capacitors, and the voltage regulator. The board will be available in March costing around 110$ Also, the Omega v2 will be open-source as a way for rocketeers to add Thrust Vector Control to their rockets!

The third PCB is a launch computer called Vega! It is using a arduino nano to control everything to bring the cost down since we are open sourcing it for everyone to make!

It has outputs for five mini LED boards which will also be open-sourced and a buzzer. It also has 2 pyrotechnic channels, a RGB LED, a XT60 switch connector and outputs for six servos.
